RIVERSIDE WYOMING

We took a wrong turn heading to Saratoga and ended up in Riverside Wyoming, population 59. What a great place. No tour operator would ever send you there but I'd go back in a minute.
There's a general store that had "rustic cabins", the Bear Trap Inn where Betty the waitress just glanced at my credit card, went to the credit card terminal, punched in my numbers and brought us our check. At the "Mangy Moose we met Jim the ponytailed ex executive who fishes and hunts every day and tends bar at night. We met local ranchers and those who sit at the bar all day without a care in the world.
David and I fished the Encampment River near "Baggett Rocks" the only public access within 20 miles.
Sometimes not planning brings the best results. In this case, we liked the Encampment and Riverside so much we stayed another night in "The Mountain Man" on our way back to Denver.
