Had a great day floating with Jim Shifflet in his new AuSable River Boat on Saturday.....it's maiden voyage and our first outing of the year. The weather was wonderful, warm & sunny. We floated from Thendora to Stephan bridge, some of the best water of the main stream. Unfortunately we saw just a few sulphers and maybe a stone fly or two and the fish weren't rising.
Best of all, Jim managed to steer clear of the submerged logs and not dump me out of the boat like is his habit :).

I am learning to handle the boat better. Just wait until there are seats on it.
